Drop Out (2015-2017) by Gray Folie
If you meet me and I like you I’m probably going to tell you about it right away, it’s so emotionally intense for such short webcomic. A lot of discussion about wanting to die, what brings us to it and also what keeps us off it.
Understanding Comics: The Invisible Art (1993) by Scott McCloud
A comic about comics, in such a deep way that goes way above that, even if you’re not a visual artist it really makes you think about how we see and perceive things at a psychological level, it’s a very interesting read for anyone, and a must for any visual artist.
Girl Stuff [1] [1.11] and [2] (2024) by Yaster Goodman
The art, diagramation and writing are fantastic, a lot of weird erotic stuff between girls.
Crisis Zone (2021) by Simon Hanselmann
Or basically anything he's made, it's what any sitcom TV show wishes to be nowdays but to a level that it's only allowed outside of TV. This one is a compliation of weekly webcomics uploaded during the pandemic, so it progresses thru it chronologically, at times referencing whatever was big that week or just the general stupidity we collectively experienced from the start of it.
Asscastle (2009) by Cate Wurtz
I don’t remember how I found it when I was like 15 but I remember being like “oh man this is unreadable, it’s so cool”.
My Lesbian Experience With Loneliness (2016) by Kabi Nagata
[さびしすぎてレズ風俗に行きましたレポ]
A very beautiful and intimate autobiographical manga. I wish I had the courage to expose myself thru my art like this.
Pandemonium: Wizard Village (2013-2014) by Shibamoto Sho
[パンデモニウム - 魔術師の村]
Love the art, love the characters, love the story.
